✔ Battery & Starting System

  • Test battery strength and load capacity
  • Inspect terminals for corrosion
  • Check alternator performance
  • Ensure reliable cold-weather starting

✔ Fluids & Filters

  • Coolant/antifreeze level and freeze protection
  • Engine oil level & winter-grade recommendation
  • Windshield washer fluid (winter formula)
  • Brake fluid level
  • Check for any fluid leaks
  • Replace clogged air or cabin filters

✔ Tires & Traction

  • Measure tire tread depth
  • Check tire pressure (cold weather reduces PSI)
  • Inspect for uneven wear, cracking, or dry rot
  • Rotate tires if needed
  • Install winter tires if applicable
  • Confirm spare tire readiness

✔ Brakes & Safety Systems
